COVID-19 Update

Across the country, more and more states have been ordering all non-essential businesses to close and for everyone to stay at home. Ex-Tech Plastics is considered an essential business as defined by the US Department of Homeland Security. Please see the below:

As the Nation comes together to slow the spread of COVID-19, on March 16th, the President issued updated Coronavirus Guidance for America. This guidance states that:

If you work in a critical infrastructure industry, as defined by the Department of

Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you

have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule.

As shelter in place regulations are being put in place, Ex-Tech is required to continue operations since a majority of our products are used directly in the food packaging industry. We have a responsibility to our customers, who in turn have a responsibility to the grocery chains, to supply them with product to keep the grocery stores stocked with food during this pandemic.

We will continue to restrict outside access to the building, continue the cleaning and sanitizing of the work areas and require any employees who are experiencing any symptoms, or if they have been in contact with someone who has, to please stay at home.

This is a difficult time for every family across the globe but we should be proud that Ex-Tech is a key player to supplying essential products to the market.
